Waffen-SS : An International Fighting Force

The Waffen-SS never truly receives the proper amount of credit for being one of the modern world's first International Fighting Forces. Encompassing over 20 different nations and 500,000+ non-germans, the W-SS was genuinely unique for its time. Interesting to think about after listening to the conformist historian rhetoric about how the Waffen-SS was nothing more than a hateful racially influenced zeitgeist. Seems contradictory when one considers the thousands of Hindu's and Muslims fighting alongside in defense of the Reich.

The Germanic SS Divisions receive plenty of attention already, but this thread is devoted to ALL of the different nations and walks of life that composed the W-SS throughout the war. There will be no entertaining discussions of politics, war crimes, or related topics. This will be reserved exclusively for the research and study of the diverseness and the cultural labyrinthine the Waffen-SS transformed into by the end of the war.
